When reviewing a prospective Portrait provider, we ask that Clinical Directors help to evaluate prospective Portrait providers — this puts everyone in the best position in the long run and is a great way to foster a collaborative relationship.

For providers, please familiarize yourself with the goals of the Clinical Interview! You are accomplished + knowledgeable and we are confident in your abilities or we wouldn’t be moving forward. This is a “trust but verify” process.

There are eight elements to the CSI, including

• SUGGESTED PLAN OF CARE
• PATIENT CONSENT
• PROCEDURAL SKILLS
• EXPECTED / UNEXPECTED EFFECTS OF TREATMENT
• POST CARE / FOLLOW-UP
• PROFESSIONALISM / MATURITY

When performing the CSA, please be mindful of the following skills, and provide your rating per the SKILL LEVEL SCALE
